PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent element of a dual plate mode and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a durability of a panel by selectively filling internal filler on a front side of a display area excepting for a formation part of a patterned spacer. CONSTITUTION: A switching transistor is formed on a crossing point of a data wiring and a gate wiring. A driving transistor is connected with the switching transistor as one-to-one. A connecting electrode(170) is connected with a drain electrode(134) of the driving transistor. A first electrode(180) is formed on the lower front side of a second substrate. A buffer pattern(162) is formed in order to cover an auxiliary electrode. A cross section of a partition wall is formed into a reverse taper shape. A patterned spacer(150) is located on a pixel area. An organic light-emitting layer(182) is contacted with the first electrode between the partition walls. A second electrode is formed on the lower part of the organic light-emitting layer. A seal pattern is used for attaching a first and the second substrate. An internal filler is selectively formed on the front side of the display area excepting for the patterned spacer.
