PURPOSE: An image sensor which white noise is reduced and a white noise reduction method is provided to reduce the white noise by adding up output values which passes channels after sanctioning identically an attenuated signal according to the number of channels in a plurality of channels. CONSTITUTION: A pixel unit(120) includes a photodiode array. The photodiode array converts input radiation intensity into an electric signal. A plurality of channels performs data processing of pixel signals outputted from the pixel unit. An average operation unit(200a) performs average operation of an output signal outputted from each of a plurality of channels. An image signal processor(160) converts the average operation result into video information. |
