PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer where the maintenance of an ink path can be easily performed. SOLUTION: Components, such as a head unit 6 having a head group 26-29 supported by side frames 3a, 3b and a tie bar 3c, a transferring mechanism 10 for transferring recording media, and the like, are housed in a first housing 3. Sub tanks 40K-40Y, that are a part of the ink channel, are housed in a second housing 4. The second housing 4 is turned (switched) around a rotation axis 5 against the side frame 3a from a first position to a second position during maintenance and inspection work for the ink channel.
