PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strainer stably gripped even with one hand. SOLUTION: The strainer 1 provided on a drain port 61 to prevent garbage or the like from flowing into the drain port 61 has a receiving part 2 provided with a plurality of through holes 21; a collar part 3 provided at the peripheral edge part of the receiving part 2; and a handle 31 extended from the collar part 3 toward the center from the top view. An outer edge part 32, located on the reverse side to the extending direction of the handle 31, out of the collar part 3 is formed such that a vertical dimension in a horizontal view is larger than other parts.
