<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distillation apparatus capable of preventing the temperature of oil from falling and oil from flying out of its oil bath. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The distillation apparatus includes an oil bath 11 for holding oil in a heated state, a raw-liquid container 12 for storing distillation raw-liquid with its lower part held in the oil bath 11, a cooler 13 that is connected to the upper part of the raw-liquid container 12 and cools vapor generated from the distillation raw-liquid, and a protective cover 14 having a tapered shape of gradually expanding in the downward direction to cover the upper part of the oil bath 11 at a position below the cooler 13.
