<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appliance permitting a user to easily access to a filter. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A cleaning appliance such as a vacuum cleaner (1) includes a body (2) housing a motor and fan unit (3) for generating a fluid flow. The body (2) also houses a removable pre-motor filter (20) located upstream of the motor and fan unit (3) and a removable post-motor filter (21) located downstream of the motor and fan unit. It is more important that the user checks the pre-motor filter as it gets dirtier than the post-motor filter.
