It is an object to provide a stringed instrument that is configured to make it possible to improve its sound characteristic by vibrating a specific region of a table. A guitar (1) has a body (8) provided with a table (2) and the like, wherein the table (2) is equipped with laterally bridged connection portions (16) in longitudinal shapes arranged in parallel with each other along an inner surface of the table (2), a pair of cone connection legs (17a) and (17b) curved to intersect a longitudinal direction from both edges of each of the laterally bridged connection portions (16), and a breath bar (3) having a bridge connection leg (18) arranged along a projection direction of the cone connection leg (17a) and the like from a central portion of the laterally bridged connection portions (16). Further, a pair of concave portions (21a) cut to form concave shapes are made in the table (2) and the cone connection leg (17a) and the like of the breath bar (3) are connected with a thin plate-like cone portion (4) stuck on the concave portion (21a) and the like.
