The method involves peeling and/or crushing an inner lining using a V-shaped cutter head (1) that is rotationally driven by a tubular rod. Rinsing liquid e.g. water, is supplied to the cutter head for removing lining particles by the tubular rod. The cutter head is arranged at an end of the rotationally driven rod. The cutter head is provided with straight or curved or angular cuttings, cutting warts (7) and rinse water nozzles (10) and is detachably connected with a U-shaped cutting body (6). A body (3) is provided with a circulating slot. An independent claim is also included for a device for removing damaged inner linings of underground pipes.
