NOVEL BACTERIOPHAGE AND ANTIBACTERIAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel bacteriophage is provided to specifically induce apoptosis of Salmonella Gallinarum and Salmonella Pullorum. CONSTITUTION: A bacteriophage has a specific apoptosis ability to Salmonella Gallinarum and Salmonella Pullorum. The bacteriophage is a morphotype B1 having isometric capsid and long non-contractile tail. The bacteiophage belongs to siphoviridae and 61kb of total genome size. The bacteriophage contains total genome with nucleotides of sequence numbers 1 and 2. A composition for preventing and treating infectious diseases by Salmonella Gallinarum and Salmonella Pullorum contains the bacteriophage as an active ingredient.
