PURPOSE: A transfer carriage system and a method of instructing a traveling route of a transfer carriage is provided to perform an inspection about a desired driving path. CONSTITUTION: A transfer carriage system comprises a plurality of automatic transfer vehicles(8,9,10), a ground controller and a covering route. The covering route is included of each other connected a plurality of segments. The carrier carriage travels according to the segment selected between the covering routes. The ground controller comprises a specifying member, a generating member, and an execution member. The specifying member designates a plurality of segments comprising the route of an actual operating the carrier carriage. The carrier carriage is operated according to the execution member is the driving command.
