<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device of a fuel tank cap, which facilitates the operation of unlocking the cap, which can enhance an anticrime effect, and which can enhance safety. <P>SOLUTION: This lock device of the fuel tank cap includes: the cap 1 capable of opening/closing a fuel filler; a locking means 2 slidable between a locking position to lock the cap 1 and an unlocking position; a transmission means 3 for transmitting an ID code; a reception means 4 capable of receiving the ID code; and a determination means 5 for determining whether or not the received ID code is normal. The lock device makes the locking means 2 slide from the locking position to the unlocking one, so as to enable the unlocking of the cap, on condition that it is determined that the normal ID code is received. The lock device, which is equipped with a detection means 7 capable of detecting that the cap 1 is in a closing position, inhibits the cap from being unlocked by the locking means 2, while an engine is driven. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
