<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processable and thermally cross-linkable polymer from a fused material giving sufficiently a long pot life in comparison with that of a known system cross-linking by heat for processing from the fused material, particularly for a corresponding polymer hot melt. <P>SOLUTION: The process for production of a uniformally cross-linked polymer is performed by addition of at least one cross-linking agent to a fused state polymer, further processing of the polymer from the fused material and induction of a thermal cross-linking reaction with a cross-linking agent, wherein at least a part of the cross-linking reaction is conducted after further processing at a lower temperature than the fusing temperature of the polymer, and the cross-linking agent has at least a bifunctional compound and at least one kind of the bifunctional group represents an oxazoline group, and the polymer has a functional group linkable in a sense of a thermal cross-linking reaction with the oxazoline at a temperature lower than the fusion temperature of the polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
