摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated piezoelectric element capable of providing a stable amount of displacement even by being driven for a long time under a condition of a high voltage and a high pressure. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated piezoelectric element 1 includes an external electrode 11 electrically connected to internal electrode layers 5 on the side face of a laminate 7 formed by alternately laminating piezoelectric layers 3 and the internal electrode layers 5. A plurality of slits 12 are formed in the external electrode 11, and the plurality of the slits 12 are longer at the center sides of the laminate 7 than those at the end sides, in this laminated piezoelectric element 1. Since the plurality of the slits 12 formed in the external electrode 11 are longer at the center sides of the laminate 7 than those at the end sides, the occurrence of peeling of the external electrode 11 and cracking of the laminate 7 can be suppressed by relaxing stress, thereby providing excellent durability to the laminated piezoelectric element 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
