<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately achieve execution of a function according to setting desired by each user. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus has a means that receives from an information processing apparatus, application information including function identification information for identifying a function for which execution is requested to the image forming apparatus by application of the information processing apparatus connected via network and a user ID associated with the application, and registers the application information in an application information managing means, a means that registers the user ID included in the application information in a user information managing means, a means that controls authentication processing of an operator based on verification between a user ID input by the operator and the user ID registered in the user information managing means, a means that obtains a list of application information relating to the user ID of the authenticated operator from an application information management means and displays the list at a display apparatus, and a means that executes a function relating to the function identification information included in the application information selected at least from the list. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
