PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and correctly detect breakage of a weak pin even in a place in an adverse condition where the place is likely to get water, by detecting state change of reflected light of light about fracture of the weak pin. SOLUTION: The weak pin breakage detection device includes: a tube 6 inserted into a long hole 5 of the weak pin 3 freely inserted therein/pulled out thereof; a light emitting/receiving part 2 disposed to an upper member 7 of the tube 6 and emitting light from an optical fiber 10 and receiving its reflected light; and a reflection part 9 disposed to a lower member 8 of the tube 6, and reflecting emitted light from the light emitting/receiving part 2. When the tube 6 is fractured together with the weak pin 3 and the light emitting/receiving part 2 does not receive the reflected light, a sensor 13 detects the state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
