<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient with a new administration method for enhancing curative effect of an antifungal agent on trichophytosis which is intractable and apt to relapse; a new administration method of treating nail trichophytosis and keratin-propagative foot trichophytosis, which are particularly intractable, without orally taking the antifungal agent. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Terpene alcohols such as geraniol, linalool and nerolidol, and plant essential oils containing these as ingredients such as palmarosa oil, lavender oil and patchouli oil are used singly or with two or more kinds thereof in combination with an antifungal agent such as terbinafine, and administered directly to the affected part and its periphery of skin or nail and so on. This greatly enhances absorptivity of the antifungal agent, and enables to increase its concentration at the infected site. This method for administration can largely reduce the risk of side effects.
