<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle pneumatic tire having higher steering stabilizing performance during high-speed traveling, and particularly, having improved traction performance during acceleration from tight cornering wherein a vehicle (motorcycle) is largely tiled and improved stability during body tilting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The motorcycle pneumatic tire includes a tread part annularly formed. A spiral belt layer 3 wherein an angle to a tire equator is 0-5° and an arrangement width is 0.5-0.8 times of the width of a tread is arranged on the tire-radial-direction inside of a crown porion of the tread part 11 so that the cross center of the spiral belt layer 3 corresponds to the tire equator. An average value for the total gauge of the tire in a region of the tread part 11 where the spiral belt layer 3 is arranged is smaller than an average value for the total gauge of the tire in a region of the tread part 11 where the spiral belt layer 3 is not arranged.
