<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter that has good balance between the front and the rear of machine, lowers the center of gravity in comparison with a conventional one, improves a traveling performance and performs an excellent seedling transplantation operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter includes a traveling part 1a having a traveling part transmission case 7 attached to a traveling transmission device for transmitting power to any drive wheel of front and rear wheels 2 and 3 and a planting part 1b having a seedling supply apparatus 4 having a seedling table 90 and a seedling planting apparatus 5 having a seedling planting tool 42 in such a way that the seedling table 90 is arranged at the upper part of the traveling part 1a in a state in which the front part is high and the rear part is low and movable in the right and left directions in the traveling direction of the seedling transplanter. A seedling tray T is placed on the slantingly arranged surface of the seedling table 90 and a seedling taking out apparatus 43 for taking out seedlings one by one from the seedling tray T and supplies them to the seedling planting tool 42 is installed at the rear of the seedling table 90 and at the upper part of the seedling planting apparatus 5. Since the longitudinal long seedling tray T is arranged ahead of the seedling planting apparatus 5 and at the upper part of a planting transmission case 30, the seedling transplanter has good balance between the front and the rear of the machine and drops the center of gravity.
