PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal unit in which an accommodated whip antenna is effectively used, with an improved antenna gain. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal unit includes a switching means that supplies power to the whip antenna extended from a cabinet and switches a connection to an accommodated auxiliary antenna while keeping the power supply to the whip antenna accommodated in the cabinet.
