The drive motor has an armature shaft (10) rotatably supported in a stator, and a ball bearing (15) fastened to the armature shaft. An outer ring (15b) of the ball bearing is accommodated in a bearing seat (16) in a housing (14), and is axially attached to the bearing seat by a clamp member. The clamp member is designed as a cutaway clip (18) whose side (18a) engages the outer ring of the ball bearing. Another side (18b) of the clip is supported at an axial distance to the former side at a wall of the housing.
