A reactor for preparation of technical carbon comprises a metal housing, the inner surface of which is lined with refractory material, and coaxially placed in series in the housing a combustion chamber, equipped with means for the supply of fuel and air, a reaction chamber, equipped with primary nozzles, and a hardening chamber, equipped with nozzles for water supply. The reaction chamber is made staged and comprises at least two cylinder sections with diameters, increasing in direction to the hardening chamber. |
