The method involves implementing an adjusting process of a motor-driven vehicle adjusting system. Adjusting force is continuously determined during the adjusting process. The adjusting force and/or a monitoring parameter that depends on the adjusting force are monitored. The monitoring parameter and/or the adjusting force are used as an evaluation criterion for evaluating quality of the adjusting system. The monitoring parameter is read from a control device of the adjusting system by a diagnosis system. The monitoring parameter is formed as a resource parameter.
