SECURITY COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, GATEWAY APPARATUS AND OPERATING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: A secure communication system and a gateway unit thereof and an operation method thereof are provided to safely transfer various data to a local area legacy terminal to an external peer terminal of a P2P network. CONSTITUTION: An external peer terminal(20) generates a security group or participates the security group with connecting a peer-to-peer network(10). A legacy terminal(40) is connected to a local area network(30). A gateway device(50) altogether connects to the P2P network and the local area network. The gateway device makes possible a participation of the security group by the legacy terminal. The gateway device transmits an advertisement message including identifying information of the legacy terminal to the P2P network.
