PURPOSE: A carrier for a semiconductor chip is provided to enhance test productivity by accurately implementing the arrangement of a ball electrode and a test board electrode. CONSTITUTION: The load opening(4) of a base(10) includes a protrusion(6) on the inner lower side. A moving sheet(100) is protruded from the protrusion to the load opening in an opening process of a latch(20). The moving sheet escapes from the protrusion in a cloasing process of the latch. The moving sheet includes a fixing unit(110), a seat unit(120) and a driving unit(130). The fixing unit fixes the moving sheet on the base. The seat unit is expanded from the fixing unit to the load opening.
