<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise a correction accuracy by more precisely detecting a noise of an imaging element in the longitudinal direction in an imaging unit. <P>SOLUTION: A video camera 101 is equipped with: an imaging section 110 which pictures an object; a fixed noise detection unit 170 which detects a fixed pattern noise in a picture signal from the imaging section 110; a noise correction section 175 which takes off a noise signal from the picture signal from the imaging section 110; a filter section 182 which detects a signal component of at least one specific frequency in a picture signal from the noise correction section 175; and a noise calculation portion 174 which changes the fixed pattern noise, based on a detection result of the filter section 182 and calculates the noise signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
