PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance device for a liquid jetting head which can perform initial filling with a liquid in a simple configuration without causing a cost increase, and to provide a liquid jetting recording apparatus and a liquid filling method. SOLUTION: In the maintenance device of the liquid jetting head, a cap member 40 is provided which can cover jetting hole trains by contacting to a surface of a jetting body of the liquid jetting head that has the jetting hole trains capable of jetting the liquid. The cap member has a suction opening 42 which communicates with a negative pressure generating means and an atmospheric release opening 43 for returning the interior of the cap member to an atmospheric pressure. The cap member is equipped with a pressing member 50 which can close and open the jetting hole trains while the cap member comes in contact with the surface of the jetting body.
