PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for finishing an end of a panel, which can improve the holding property and constructibility of a cover member engaged and held by a retainer member, and a structure for finishing an end of a building panel. SOLUTION: The member 1 for finishing the end of the panel, which is arranged along one end 31 of the building panel 30 attached to a substrate material 2, includes: the retainer member 10 which has a rising wall portion 13 arranged in the state of facing an end surface 32 of the one end of the building panel, and which is fixed to the substrate material; the cover member 20 which has an eaves piece portion 22 arranged in the state of facing a surface 33 near an end surface of the one end; an engaging recess 14 which is provided in either of the cover member and retainer member and opened in a direction almost perpendicular to the substrate material; and an engaging protrusion 23 which is provided in the other one of them and fitted into the engaging recess. The engaging protrusion and the engaging recess are structurally engaged with each other in a phased manner by locking means 15, 24 and 25 which increase the degree of locking in a phased manner as the depth of fitting the engaging protrusion into the engaging recess becomes greater.
