PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dug Kotatsu capable of easily disposing drainboard-shaped leg setting sections to set legs, and free from the necessity of newly securing a storage place for the leg setting sections even when the leg setting sections are not used, and degradation of warming property from soles. SOLUTION: The dug Kotatsu includes a furnace box 1 applying the opening formed on a floor surface F as an upper opening 11, a heating section 2 disposed in the furnace box 1, a table 3 disposed at an upper part of the furnace box 1, and the pair of drainboard-shaped leg receiving sections 4 disposed while covering the whole or a part of the upper opening 11 of the furnace box 1. Each leg setting section 4 is rotatably disposed on an opening edge section opposed to the upper opening 11 of the furnace box 1, and takes a storage posture of a state along a sidewall opposed to the furnace box 1, and a horizontal posture of a state along the floor surface F.
