PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable wide application to panel materials of various materials to increase versatility, to avoid problems causing rattling and decrease of fixing strength, to achieve large cost reduction, and to contribute to reduction of resource usage and safety. SOLUTION: A fence includes a plurality of holding members 2 each forming a pair of holding pieces 2u, 2d, respectively projecting from the upper and lower ends of a mounting portion 2j at a predetermined angle and having locking pawls 2uc, 2dc facing each other at the tip ends, by a plate spring material, supports 4 mounted with the mounting portions 2j of the holding member 2 at prescribed intervals in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of panel materials 3 etc. horizontally provided with a thick portion 3x, having a vertical width smaller than that of the back surface 3or of a panel body 3o, on the back surface 3or and having a pair of slits 3su, 3sd formed along the back surface 3or at boundaries between the upper and lower surfaces 3xu, 3xd of the thick portion 3x and the back surface 3or to enable locking of a pair of the locking pawls 2uc, 2dc.
