PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply substituting one fluorine atom of -CF=CF- group of perfluorocycloolefin with hydrogen under a mild condition. SOLUTION: A hydrogen-containing fluoroolefin compound in which one fluorine atom of a -CF=CF- group is substituted with hydrogen is obtained by bringing a fluorine-containing halogen compound represented by formula (1) (wherein n is an integer of 0-3) into contact with a trialkylphosphine in a water-containing ether-based solvent in a temperature range of -10 to 30°C.
