Authenticating and counting method using a secure electronic voting system, and electronic voting system implementing such a method. The object of the present invention is to allow: all voters to anonymously authenticate their vote or votes using the ballots counted for the election result; all third parties to count the votes using the ballots counted for the election result and to verify the voting rights using the voter register. The invention proposes that a unique and confidential validation code (fig. 5, ref. no. 226) be generated for each voter on a voter register. When the election procedure is over, the voter, using his or her validation code(s), can find out his voting number(s) which will enable him to authenticate, in particular on the Internet, the vote(s) he or she cast, using the election result. Voters and third parties are able, using this result, to verify the vote count constituting the election result. |
