The injector has a nozzle needle (7) with a piston-like part (7') movably arranged in a bore hole of nozzle-side parts of high-pressure chambers (3). The needle is arranged within a sub-regions (3', 3'') located close to a nozzle, where the needle co-operates with a circular seat (8) and is connected to a nozzle part with a coupling bar (11) that is movably guided in the bore hole. The bar includes an actuator-side end that extends into a low pressure range and is hydraulically coupled with an actuator (13), where the circular seat is provided at an input side of an injection nozzle (6).
