APPARATUS FOR MEASURING HEART RATE BASED EARPHONE

PURPOSE: An earphone-based non-restriction heart rate measuring apparatus is provided to accurately measure the heart rate without restriction during exercising and general life by removing a motion artifact from the movement. CONSTITUTION: An earphone(100) comprises an acceleration sensor and an infrared sensor. The acceleration sensor senses the movement of user to the motion noise. The infrared sensor measures the blood flow. A main body(200) comprises a noise eliminator and a heart rate calculator. The noise eliminator removes the motion noise from the measure signal of the blood flow. The heart rate calculator produces the heart rate based on the blood flow signal from which the motion noise is removed. A connector transfers a signal between the earphone and the main body.
