PURPOSE: A passenger type sensing apparatus for a vehicle is provided to easily discharge moisture absorbed from a seat by forming a drain hole on a seat pad. CONSTITUTION: A passenger type sensing apparatus for a vehicle comprises a seat unit(300), a sensor unit(200), and a seat pad unit(100). The sensor unit is installed inside the seat unit. The sensor unit detects the difference of the permittivity of passengers who sit on the upper part of the seat unit. The seat pad unit is installed on the lower part of the sensor unit. The seat pad unit has multiple drain holes. The drain holes discharge the moisture absorbed from the seat unit.
