PURPOSE: An air bag device for a vehicle is provided to minimize the pressure loss of an air bag cushion by matching the inflation direction of the air bag cushion and the hinge open direction of an inflatable door unit. CONSTITUTION: An air bag device for a vehicle comprises an air bag housing, an inflatable door unit(310), and a chute. An air bag cushion inflated through an opening is accepted into the air bag housing. The inflatable door unit is positioned to face the opening. The inflatable door unit is separated from a cut groove(301) of a crash pad cover(300) during the inflation of the air bag cushion. The chute had a bent hinge unit. The bent hinge unit is arranged in the sidewall of the air bag housing to be parallel. The chute is connected to one side of the inflatable door unit through the bent hinge unit.
