FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves reacting a reagent immobilised into an optical membrane with an analyte, its subsequent separation from the solution and evaluating the value of antioxidant activity. The membrane used is a polymethacrylate matrix with an immobilised iron (III)-o-phenanthroline system. The analytical signal is presented in form of light absorption at (51020) nm, light coordinate or visual evaluation of colour intensity of the membrane. Integral antioxidant activity is quantitatively and/or qualitatively evaluated using a calibration curve and/or colour scale plotted for ascorbic acid which is used as the standard substance. ^ EFFECT: higher reliability and information content of the determination process. ^ 4 ex, 4 tbl, 2 dwg |
