FIELD: construction, road engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for treatment of rails, namely to method for production of rails with antifriction welding for hump yards, and may be used in railway transport. Method for production of rails with antifriction welding consists in the fact that on surface of rail head rolling along its whole length grooves are cut at the distance of 25-30 mm from each other at the angle to vertical line of around 30. Then surface of rail head rolling is heated up to 380-420C, and welding is carried out. ^ EFFECT: reduced friction in contact "wheel-rail", which is achieved due to application of antifriction welding applied on surface of rail head rolling. ^ 2 cl |
