<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master cylinder capable of smoothly supplying fluid to a pressure chamber. <P>SOLUTION: In the master cylinder, a step 73 which is more recessed on an opening 72 side than a bottom surface 69 side of circumferential grooves 30, 32 is formed in a wall surface 70 on supply passages 38, 48 sides of the circumferential grooves 30, 32, and the brake fluid is supplied from the supply passages 38, 48 to pressure chambers 63, 86 through spaces between a cylinder body 15 and pistons 18, 19 and through the step 73 when releasing the liquid pressure in the pressure chambers 63, 86. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
