ENCODING/DECODING APPARATUS AND VIDEO TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs and to achieve further higher image quality by avoiding the rupture of a decoder input buffer easily without using a memory for storing image data after decoding, regarding a video transmission system using encoding/decoding.

SOLUTION: In a video transmission system provided with an encoding/decoding apparatus, a reference signal for adjusting a synchronization schedule for the overall system is generated and supplied to respective sections. Further, a matching adjustment amount for adjusting the synchronization schedule into the reference signal is generated at a decoder side and supplied to a camera side.
