<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the mercury adsorption performance of flying ash and reduce the concentration of mercury in exhaust gas discharged from a boiler plant. <P>SOLUTION: The boiler plant includes: a boiler 1 having, at the outlet side, a rear heat transfer part 5 for recovering the heat of exhaust gas obtained by burning fossil fuel; NOx removal equipment 11 for removing nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas discharged from the boiler 1; a heat exchanger 13 for cooling the exhaust gas discharged from the NOx removal equipment 11; an electric dust collector 29 for collecting flying ash including mercury in the exhaust gas discharged from the heat exchanger 13; and wet type desulphurization equipment 31 for removing sulfur oxides in the exhaust gas discharged from the electric dust collector 29. Flying ash collected by at least one of the rear heat transfer part 5 and the heat exchanger 13 is supplied to the upstream side of the electric dust collector 29, and the mercury in the exhaust gas is adsorbed and removed by the flying ash. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
