<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adaptivity to difficult layout regulations by enhancing the flexibility of an armoring material. <P>SOLUTION: The armoring material for a wiring harness is made by resin molding equipped with a plate-like body 11 continuous in length direction with a constant width, and joining pieces 12 and 13 continuous in length direction along both end edges in width direction of the body 11. Planar fasteners 14 and 15 engageable with each other are bonded to the joining pieces 12 and 13. The planar fasteners 14 and 15 on both sides are engaged to form a cylinder 18 which is externally fitted to a wiring harness W/H. The cross sectional area of the cylinder 18 is changed by adjusting the engagement position of the planar fasteners 14 and 15. The entire surface of the body 11 includes a checkered pattern with a protruding part 16 and a recess 17 alternately provided in both directions, namely the vertical X direction and horizontal Y direction, allowing deformation of the cylinder 18 by collapse to change the cross-sectional shape of the cylinder 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
