PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate, which is not only excellent in oxygen barrier properties and water vapor barrier properties but also excellent in permeability, wet heat resistance, flexibility and hot water resistance and has a few environmental load by effectively utilizing a cellulose material yielded from a plant. SOLUTION: The laminate includes a first layer 11 made of an inorganic compound provided at least on one side of a base material made of a polymer composition and a second layer 12 containing cellulose fibers having the fiber width in a short direction of ≤380 nm or having the fiber width in the short direction of ≤50 nm. The laminate includes from the base material side in the order of the first layer 11 and the second layer 12 and, at the same time, the second layer 12 is directly provided onto the first layer 11 in the laminate.
