PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft cylinder rolled with leather, and a writing tool with high-class feeling and high reliability using it. SOLUTION: The leather at the end surface of the shaft cylinder rolled with leather is thermoformed, and the thermoformed surface of the leather is covered with a sword guard of a leading member or a core. Therefore, the shaft cylinder is structured so as to have fine and high-class appearance.
