摘要 A roll position setting method of Sendzimir mill in which the combination of roll sets can be dealt with easily and each roll can be set at an optimal operational position. Eccentricity angle of each of first and second backing bearings is set based on a predetermined first function such that the upper surface of a lower work roll is aligned with the pass line of a rolling material by adjusting a lower press down device and a lower side press down device. With regard to an upper side roll set, an eccentricity angle of a fourth backing bearing is set such that a predetermined second function different from the first function becomes a predetermined optimal state by adjusting an upper side press down device.
