PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to properly adjust the balance of chromatic purity and brightness by increasing the color purity of R,G and B colors. CONSTITUTION: A first substrate includes first and second gate lines(123a,123b), a common line(140), a G,B,R and W sub pixels. The sub pixels are divided into right and left parts through a second data line(121b). A second substrate includes RGB color filters and a white color filter, and includes a black matrix.
