PURPOSE: An x-ray imaging apparatus which interlocks a collimator with a photographing device is provided to adjust the resolution of an image by adjusting the photographing region of a subject. CONSTITUTION: An x-ray generator(100) radiates x-ray to a subject. A collimator(200) adjusts the size of an x-ray radiation region. An x-ray photosensitive unit(300) includes an x-ray sensing surface and converts the x-ray to visible ray. A sensor(400) obtains the opening value of a diaphragm and senses the x-ray radiation region. A control unit(500) obtains the size of the x-ray radiation region from the sensor and adjusts a photographing operation. A photographing unit(600) photographs an image using the visible ray.
