PURPOSE: An information storing device using a magnetic domain wall movement and an operating method thereof are provided to raise the record density by decreasing the size of a magnetic domain and easily form the record/reproduction unit. CONSTITUTION: An information storing device is composed a magnetic track(100), a magnetic domain wall moving unit(150), a operation unit, a temporary information storing element. The magnetic track comprises a plurality of magnetic domains and magnetic domain wall(DW). The magnetic domain wall is located between the magnetic domains. The magnetic domain wall moving unit is connected to the magnetic track. The size of the operation unit is bigger than at least two of the magnetic domains. The temporary information storing element is connected to the operation unit. The temporary information storing element is a non-volatile memory element.
