<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve controllability when replacing friction torque and regeneration torque with brake torque at gear shifting with engine friction torque applied thereto in addition to the regeneration torque in a coasting mode. <P>SOLUTION: When the engine friction torque is applied in addition to the regeneration torque by a second motor M2 in a coasting mode, friction torque is temporarily replaced with regeneration torque under braking force cooperation coast-down control by a braking force cooperation control means 94, and the regeneration torque is replaced with brake torque by a wheel brake device 40. Thus, it is much easier to achieve replacement with the brake torque by using only the regeneration torque than the replacement with two degrees of freedom of the friction torque and the regeneration torque.
