PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent mechanical strength (wear resistance) and slipping property while preferably maintaining electric characteristics such as responsiveness.

SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer on a conductive substrate, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a polyester resin having a polysiloxane structure expressed by formula (1) in at least a part of molecular ends and containing a repeating unit expressed by formula (2). In the formulae, each of Rato Reindependently represents an alkyl group which may have a substituent, or an aromatic group which may have a substituent; and n represents an integer of 1 to 500.
