PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly discharge a liquid received in a cap member. SOLUTION: A suction cap device provided in a printer has a cap and two tip bodies 61 and 62 each received in a recess of the cap in a laminated state. A through-hole 71 is formed in the tip body 61, and a through-hole 72 is formed in the tip body 62. The opening diameter (on the side into which ink flows) of the through-hole 71 which opens on a surface of the tip body 61 is larger than the opening diameter (on the side out of which ink flows) of the through-hole 72 which opens on the back side of the tip body 62.
